Buyer Registration

Beginning with the 2025 show, and going forward, buyers will be required to register annually. 

If you attended any shows prior to 2025, your information is no longer in the system.

GJX is a “wholesale-to-the-trade only” show for qualified buyers who are engaged in the gem and jewelry industry, or its related products, and is not open to the public. GJX reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine if a buyer is qualified to attend the show based on the information provided by the registrant.

No infants, or children under the age of 14 are allowed on the show floor. A photo ID is required for all children over the age of 14. (A passport, state issued ID or current school ID.)

Please come up to the Pre-Registered counter with your photo ID to receive your badge.

BUYER REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

Company Documentation

     1.)  JBT # or

     2.)  Copy of current business license, resale license or tax-exempt certificate dated within the last 2 years which clearly indicates industry affiliation

     3.)  If your business/resale license or tax ID certificate license does not reflect that your company is engaged in the gem and jewelry industry or its related products, or if your state does not issue annual business/resale licenses, then you must provide copies of itemized invoices for the purchase of gemstones, jewelry, precious metals or lapidary equipment made within the last year from three (3) different suppliers. Each invoice must reflect the purchase of multiple items with a combined total of, at least, $5,000.

Buyer Documentation

     Companies are required to provide proof of employment for all attendees who will serve as buyers.  Any of the items listed below are acceptable

           a.   A photo of a professionally printed company business card for each qualified buyer which must include the company name and attendee’s full name.

           b. *Recent W-2 or paycheck stub. *You may black out information you do not want to share, except for your name and company name. All information is kept confidential.

The company name and address on all documents must match the company name and address on the registration form.

Badges are not mailed in advance. You will receive a confirmation email with a barcode for each buyer, approximately 3 weeks prior to the show. Show your barcode, along with your photo ID, at either of our pre-registration counters to have your badge printed. Badges must be worn at all times in the exhibition hall. A $50.00 fee per badge will be charged for lost or misplaced badges.

Guests may not be pre-registered and must be registered on-site by a qualified buyer from the registered company. A registered company may have a total of 4 guests. Guest badges are $35.00 each.

AGTA Badge Holders

GJX honors AGTA Buyer badges. Please come up to the AGTA Sticker Counter with your photo ID and business card in hand to have your badge validated.

WE DO NOT HONOR AGTA GUEST BADGES. A guest badge may be purchased for $35 onsite.

Domestic Students 

Must be currently enrolled in a qualified gemological or jewelry educational institution and must register on-site. You must provide a current student ID from the school as well as paperwork showing recent completion of a course. All information provided must be in English. Students are not permitted to bring guests
