Chasing colour at the cutting wheel drives Opal By Mario’s Director, Mario Ikasovic, an expert in Australian opal for over 40 years. Mario attends international jewellery trade shows with his extensive inventory of solid black, boulder and crystal opal, sourced both from miners and dealers. A former resident of Lightning Ridge and Coober Pedy, he is now Sydney based where he carries out all cutting in his workshop.
